Sorry there was a typo in the application mailed in date it is 8/7/2007 and notice date is 9/26/2007.
as per the info u provided u'r...... mail dt is 8/17/07 & receipt dt is 9/26/07...... did u'r application reach cis after july visa bulletin..... if yes, then it appears that with u'r april-06 dt. the priority dt was not current when they received u'r app .... is that a possibility.....

In mycase I went to the local USCIS office and the IO there sent an e-mail as well but no news on my FP yet. Try your luck.

At least he is better than my lawyer who did not allow me to file in EB2 and also discouraged my company from applying for a second labor. Now i have PD apr or may 2002 and I wait for my turn to come. To each his own, I have read his posts on the forum and the advice seems good.

A majority of the attorneys dont do anything for the EB community. the few that do attend rallies or do the ask questions type of conference call arent really serving the community. They are doing the same thing that Gotcher is doing. I am not defending him by any means. i myself had issues with some of his posts that I feel were directed at getting more traffic to his website, but this thread was about his impression about the july bulletin. With the lack of interest at predicting VBs, this is at least something to discuss.

How come your case is assigned to IO inspite of pending NC. I saw a post which said that NC should be cleared before 485 approval. They are planning to finish NC by Feb, 09; for all applicants whose NC is pending for than 6 months.
I am stuck with NC...my PD is 09/2004...

I was on bench for about 4-5 months in 2004, so didn't get paid. Will it pose any problem?
Well, I have been with the same Employer all along since my date of entry, and the only problem is my W-2 amount for 2004 is kind of 50% of my offer amount.
Same in case of 2003 also. But my last date of entry is 2004, so I am thinking I NEED NOT worry about 2003, just worry about 2004.
I really apreciate it, if someone clarifies the implications.

Filed at NSC on July 2nd 2007. Got EAD/AP approval notices and receipts/transfer notices from CSC last week. No FP notice yet.
There are several in my company in the same situation..NSC->CSC and now CSC Xfr'd back to NSC. No one has rcvd FP notice. I think August 17th filers at NSC are ahead of us now and we are at the tail of the queue one more time.
The only advantage of CSC transfer is if you need EAD/AP desperately. if you don't then it's just bad luck.

One minor side effect is that India EB dates might further retrogress because still there a lot of folks with PD 2001,2002 etc pending namecheck clearance.
I thought the same but they need to get out of the queue before you and I can get our turn :) .. Good for them finally ...
In the longer run I guess it makes predicitions easy :)

One advise for you...just ignore which is not useful to you...
it probably means.. they are opening each and every mail they have recived and checking if the docs are in order or not..if they are.. they file it...else they send an RFE...

- My lawyer wants to refile (with no addional lawyer fees). Does it make any sense to re-file?

I applied on May18 for I-140 and will be applying to I485 soon.. and would get EAD...so what happens to EAD and AP...I cant beleive they are
waste..Probabaly people with pending I-140 will be subject to the new systems..??..what do you guys think??..Its not pratical to drive people down the Queue again..

At one point, there was concurrent filing. Just get LC approved and file for I-140 and I-485. Even if dates are not current. Then these filings were seperated. Then retrogression kicked in.
Now these GCs are getting aproved. So, don't worry.
